Solar panels feeding a battery bank, cork decking under your feet, and a six-person jacuzzi set into a private owner's foredeck. SAMARA is a 24-metre power catamaran built in 2016 by Pachoud Motor Yachts in New Zealand, refitted in 2025, and based at Athens Marina Zea for Cyclades summers and Saronic winters.
The full-beam master sits forward on the main deck with a walk-in wardrobe, a steam-shower en-suite, and a private glass door onto the jacuzzi foredeck. Aft of the master, the salon opens to a sheltered al fresco dining area, a barbeque grill, and a wet bar. A sunken second lounge with a working fireplace handles cooler evenings.
Eight guests sleep across four cabins. Two queens sit forward in the port and starboard hulls, each en-suite, and an aft cabin in the starboard hull adds a double with pullman bunk. A crew of four runs the boat from separate quarters and a service galley.
The sun deck earns its hours. Two cabanas seat three adults each under retractable shade, a jump-seat sunpad sits in front of the helm, and after dark the deck converts to an outdoor cinema with a proper projector and popcorn machine. Toys live on the hydraulic swim platform: two jet skis, a Seabob, a kayak, two paddleboards, a wakeboard, water skis, a towable, snorkel and fishing gear. A tender shuttles guests to the Cycladic harbours.
She cruises at 12 knots on twin MAN diesels, with a shallow 1.4-metre draft that opens the smaller Cycladic and Saronic anchorages.

Destinations
Cyclades
SAMARA cruises the Cyclades in the southern Aegean, the island group that includes Mykonos, Paros, Naxos, Milos and Santorini. Closer to Athens, Kea and Kythnos are quieter islands and a natural first stop.
Saronic Islands
SAMARA cruises the Saronic islands, the closest island group to Athens. Aegina, Poros, Hydra and Spetses are short passages apart, and car-free Hydra has a stone harbour town that is best explored on foot.

Good to Know
Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
